Can’t say enough good things about D Drywall Company! They did a wonderful job going over popcorn ceiling with new drywall, including large area of cathedral type ceiling. Job was done quickly and very much appreciated the communication/updates as job progressed. I plan on using them again soon for my next drywall repair project! Already recommended to friend as well.

In my eyes what makes a good contractor is someone that is trustworthy, reliable, competent, and prices jobs fairly. Now normally you are not going to hit the contractor jackpot and get a contractor that is all of these things. Well in my opinion Donald and his company check every single box. He is extremely respectful and easy to deal with. He always called me back and I felt 100% comfortable leaving him alone at my house while I worked. This particular job was actually an insurance job. The insurance company was being difficult and Donald provide extra paper work and spent extra time on the phone with me even before he knew he was getting the job. And the job wasn’t even that big to begin with. Water had leaked through the ceiling and Donald did an excellent job fixing it. You would never know the patch was there unless you were looking for it. So to sum everything up Donald is an extremely skilled contractor that I would trust to do work in my home any time.

Had storm damage to our ceiling and Donald from D.Drywall was a pleasure to work with after struggling to lock down other contractors for this sort of job. He was very responsive to phone calls and quick to provide the quotes and invoices needed to keep my insurance claim moving. Even knowing it was an insurance claim, he quoted and charged a very honest and reasonable amount that was half the price of other quotes I had received. I feel like he made my job a priority in his schedule and his experience (which I think he said was over 50 years) definitely showed in the work he did. He was able to excellently match the texturing of the ceiling and he left the room cleaner than it was when he got there. Have already recommended him to other family members and will continue to highly recommend for anyone I know that has drywall needs.

D Drywall came to my home for an estimate and was very kind and thorough in his review to give a fair and accurate estimate. He was able to quickly schedule me in to fix a giant crack in my ceiling and to scrape popcorn coating off.
Donald showed up on time every morning and worked diligently to finish the project in the time frame he quoted me originally. At the end of every day, he cleaned up so that no one would have known he was there (except for the beautiful work he was doing on my ceiling).
About a week after Donald finished my beautiful, flawless ceiling, my husband and I accidentally dented it 🙁 We called Donald, and he came right over to patch the hole for us. There are not many professionals that would provide this type of follow up.
I would 10 out of 10 recommend D Drywall for any ceiling or drywall needs. You will love the results!

They arrived on time all three days that they promised to be here on. They did a quick but very accurate job. They were very polite and interacted with us throughout the course of their job and as well cleaned up after themselves and they did a amazing job. I am pleased with the work done, that I’m late to write this review, because I started painting my kitchen immediately. So, the story goes, a mouse gnawing on a water pipe created a flood in my kitchen. I had a plumber replace the polybutylene plastic plumbing (PSA always check your pipes before buying a home) and then COVID hit, so I lived with a gaping hole and ugly brown water stains in my ceiling for over a year. The transformation has been amazing. The matching of the portion that was repaired to the rest of the ceiling evidenced a high level of skill. The clean up was great and the overall efficiency of the job was noteworthy. As a side note, I have big dogs and their barking and whining was all taken in stride. I highly recommend!

We had drywall taping that was coming undone where our walls and textured ceiling came together. I originally thought I would have to have an expensive fix. Donald was able to suggest an alternative that focused only on the problem areas and saved me thousands.

Cost was reasonable, and he was very forthright about some of the added challenges they faced with the second floor due to its layout. Cleaned up after themselves as well. Comments: I had two damaged areas on my textured ceiling due to plumbing problems. I tried to repair the ceiling myself which was very obvious. Donald removed what I had done, leveled everything out and reapplied the texture. It looks great. I will need to repaint due to a slight color difference which Donald told me about before the work was done. I would definitely call him again if needed. He is a nice guy that showed up when he said he would, did excellent work and cleaned up when finished. I can't ask for more than that.

Comments: Don came out to remove and replace our kitchen ceiling. After the air conditioner leaked into the ceiling from the attic, all insulation was soaking wet. They did a great job with the removal of all debris and replacement of the ceiling and an excellent job painting. They even did a small patch job that was not part of the contract with no problem these guys are great D Drywall is the place to go for any drywall plaster repair ceiling repair he does it all. He was very friendly and easy to work with and showed up exactly when he said he was going to and finished exactly when he said he was going to. They even cleaned up each day after they worked by mopping the floor and cleaning the counters. All I can say is excellent job guys thank you so much. I would hire you again for any drywall project.

Did the job but went a little overboard in repairing our ceiling and repaired some wall imperfections which then made it necessary to have the whole room painted. After buying our home and working with countless professionals to repair or improve our home, working with D Drywall was a refreshing experience to say the least. Donald returned calls promptly, showed up to work when he said he would, was polite and inconspicuous, cleaned up well, and did an outstanding job removing the popcorn in our vaulted living room. To top it off, he charged us a fair price and even patched some of the walls, which was not part of the contracted work, without charging us. I would hire D Drywall again without hesitation for any future drywall projects we will have.

Comments: I needed to have my bathroom ceiling to be paired due to a plumbing problem upstairs. Donald stopped by to look the ceiling on a Thursday. The next day he started at 8:00 am removed the damage section of the ceiling and replace a new piece of drywall, then sprayed the popcorn ceiling. Today the ceiling looks like nothing ever happened. I would highly recommend Donald to fix walls or ceiling problems. I’m very happy with the work he performed from the estimate to cleanup. Thankyou
